CHEER ONE ALL-STARS 2007-2008 COMPETITIVE SEASON PROGRAM INFORMATION
WHAT ARE ALL-STARS?
An All-Star team consists of girls/boys from the area whose sole purpose is that of competition. Cheer One All-Star teams compete against other All-Star programs (not school teams) from across the country in competitions like you may have seen on ABC, FOX Sports, and ESPN! The cheer routines are set entirely to music to demonstrate a variety of dance, tumbling, and stunting skills at the elite level.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS INVOLVED?
Uniforms (which the girls may keep and/or sell back next season).
Practice clothing, make-up, pony wigs, spray glitter and shoes.
Travel fees, competition fees, camp fees, and choreography fees.
Coaches dues fees (this is an annual, per family fee that covers the coaching staff’s travel and miscellaneous program needs.
HOW CAN I DEFRAY FROM SOME OF COSTS?
Cheer One offers year round, lucrative fundraisers that you may participate in to help defray all costs except tuition.
Some families opt to share hotel rooms when traveling to help defray some of the travel expenses. Also you may drive to any competition instead of flying.
WHY DO ALL-STARS REQUIRE SO MUCH TRAVEL?
All-Star Cheerleading and Dance are extremely popular in the south...while the sport is still growing here in Michigan, there is not a big enough market here to warrant All-Star Competitions. Therefore, we have to travel to the events that are quality competitions.
